We are an events cover band, formally formed in January 2022. We play across multiple decades of music from the 60’s to present. We play covers of popular songs ranging from artists like The Beatles, Elton John, The Jam, all the way to Bon Jovi, Oasis, and The Killers with a mix of genres from Pop Rock to Pop Punk to Classic Rock. We strive to be a band that is like your favourite playlist, full of your favourite songs, on shuffle! That is why we named our band, ShufflePlay.
We are made up of 4 members: bassist, drummer, guitarist, keyboardist, and vocals (provided by bassist and keyboardist) playing primarily in the Wiltshire, Berkshire, and Swindon areas.
We are available for booking all year round (subject to availability) for any event or venue, be that a live music event at your local pub, a private function, or a wedding.
Please contact us for booking inquiries. Also, follow us on Facebook via this link.
Meet the band

Toby – Bassist and Vocalist
I sing and play bass for the band. Whilst I’ve been singing and playing guitar in bands since 2014, I became a bassist in 2022. Putting bass and vocals together has been an interesting musical challenge.
For my vocals, I use an AKG D5 Dynamic Microphone. I run my bass guitars, Fender Mustang PJ and Hofner Violin bass, direct into a Mark Bass MiniMark IV 500W lined into the PA to keep your feet moving all night!

Will – Keyboardist and Vocalist
I’ve been playing piano since I was 8 years old. Music and Sound have been a part of my life ever since then. I studied Audio and Music Production at University, this is where I found my love for synthesizers and live sound. I have been performing live professionally since 2017. When I’m not listening to or playing music, you’ll find me tinkering with computers or watching movies.
For my gear, you’ll see me using my Yamaha YC88 as my main keyboard for all my piano, organ, and synth sounds. You might also see me using a Roland VR-09 as my upper tier if I need a different keybed or my MicroKorg for additional synths when I need a more authentic sound. For vocals, a good old Shure SM58 does the trick for me.
My favourite artists, and who I consider my inspirations, are:
Bon Jovi, Owl City, Keane, Jamie Cullum, and Elton John.

Paul – Guitarist
Got my first electric guitar when I was 14, and pretty much taught myself how to play. Played in a few bands when I was young and then picked up later when I was old.
A BIG gap in the middle when work and life just got in the way! Now loving playing live again with the youngsters in “Shuffle Play.” Never too late to learn some more good songs, and hopefully get better at playing.
Listen to and influenced by a whole load of bands, particularly those with great guitarists. Favourites change daily, but love: Steeley Dan, Free, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters and Santana (showing my age!)
Ambitions: To keep playing, and sharing our live music with friends, family and any good crowd that is up for it. Looking forward to meeting you there!

Gavin – Drummer
I’ve been playing the drums since I was 9, and started playing a wider range of percussion a few years later. I was also part of a number of cover bands during school/college, where I learned a lot more about live music performance, before moving ‘north’, meeting these guys, and putting it all into practice. Safe to say, I haven’t looked back since!
Gear-wise, I’ll be hidden behind either PDP or Pearl drums, with Sabian HHX cymbals and Pro-Mark drumsticks to make all the noise.
My favourite musical artists and inspirations are: Foo Fighters (Taylor Hawkins in particular); Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls; Oasis; Blink-182 and more recently, Pet Needs. Away from music, I’m a huge football fan and you’ll often find me either watching my local team or kicking a ball around somewhere.
